End of September – beginning of October Graziskiu gimnazija organized Buy Less Day. Students and teachers organized workshops on exchanging and repairing items they own. The aim was to decorate old photo-frames with old things, without buying them, except basic ones such as glue. All the classes were involved in the activity, with the teachers’ help. The students enjoyed an unusual activity, it helped to perceive that we live in the age of over-consumption and buy too many things which can be avoided. Thus, with the aim of the upcoming Teachers’ Day the creative/environmental activity was organized. The teachers were greeted on Teachers Day with the hand-made things, produced by the students. Everyone was happy by adding to the environmental protection, doing handicrafts and receiving eco-friendly souvenirs.
